Kraft Paper Embossing Machines

for making retail embossed paper rolls or for making padded mailers

Background for us to build Kraft Paper Embossing Machine

We build kraft paper embossing machines because embossed kraft paper rapidly finds its place in the market recently and there is a huge demand for this compostable packaging material.   Embossing a kraft paper increases the stiffness making it perfect to be used as an excellent void-fill packaging material.  Nowadays, embossed paper is widely used in packing small items like music CDs, porcelains, metal parts, and even flowers.  Another use of it is to make padded envelope mailers when processed by our padded mailer machines.

Machine Functions  & Speed

Our Kraft Paper Embossing Machine is able to convert a roll of 1200mm wide kraft paper into a roll of embossed paper, which can be further slit into narrower rolls with shorter diameters.  It is a fast-working machine that makes embossed kraft paper at a rate of 60 meters per minute.

Apart from making embossed paper, it can also laminate it with a piece of backing kraft paper to result in a much stiffer piece of wrapping material so as to withstand larger impacts.  The glue to use can be made easily with starch and sodium hydroxide.  We will provide the recipe to our clients.

The machine uses steam to heat and shape the 3D paper bubbles making them stay in shape permanently.

Installation & Implementation

It is super easy and can be done in one day.  On-site installation is available upon request.

Optional Modules

We have an additional sliting unit and a cutting unit that can cut and re-wind the embossed paper into retail rolls.
